A misleading theatre name

So, today was about Epidavros (more on this is another post).

We expected to see the renowned theatre, and we confirmed with the GPS and Google maps that there was a theatre in Epidavros.  As we drove towards the town, we got further reassurances in a series of brown "archeological site" signs that we dutifully followed to...

Here:

A small, run-down theatre, completely enclosed by a wire fence, and across the street from a semi-active dig site (there was more talking than digging).  This couldn't be it.  There was, however, a sign with several pictures to theatres.  We matched the red tile roofed building to one of them, and realized that there was another larger theatre somewhere else.  After deciphering the vague map which had numeric references that didn't match the numbered pictures (they were actually numbered figures!) and separate alphabetic references, we realized we were about 5km away from where we wanted to be.  No problem, it was on the way back to Napflio.

This is the real theatre that we were looking for:

About 10x as large and actively used for concerts.  We had to wait about 30 minutes for all the French tour groups and kissing couple to move out of the foreground for this picture.  Then another 20 minutes for all the 10-year old actresses to finish testing the acoustics before I made my debut.
