Mosaic inspiration

Despite the weeds, Pella did have some incredible mosaics from the floors of the wealthier homes.  Some are better preserved than others--in the museum or under a structure outside--while some are just left out to the elements (and the weeds).  The amazing part is that these are made entirely of river rocks!
