And thus, we began our trek up the mountain. It is not a model.
We had seen a survey map of the area, and I counted 13 dashed levels, which I immediately took for 10' grades. After all, I studied architecture in the U.S. About halfway up the mountain, we realized that the grades were 10m, and we were about a third of the way up. We briefly discussed going back, but then said, "The place is a UNESCO site. They're closing at 3pm. What the heck. We're on vacation. Let's do it!"
The view from the top of anything in Greece is always spectacular.
Even if the ruins were Roman...
And the answer to the title question is: 49 floors. More or less.
